Invitation: 4-H Robotics Open House

For Press Release

The Huntington County 4-H Robotics Team will be hosting their annual open house on Monday, February 22 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.

We showed the community what we produced for the Huntington City Police Department, now come and see what we do for our competition season. After six weeks of hard work designing, building, and programming our robot, we’re ready to unveil it. This is the last chance to see our robot before we ship it off to Purdue for the Boilermaker Regional Competition.

Join us at the Huntington 4-H Community Building at Hier’s Park not only to see our robot, but to see the game we are playing, hear our strategy to win, and learn about the various aspects of our team. Refreshments will be provided, and we strongly encourage children to attend to learn about the 4-H FIRST program. Children will also have the opportunity to have their pictures taken with our robot, and our 2008 robot will be active. Technical explanations about aspects of our robot will also be available for those interested.

This season is possible because of our sponsors: NASA, BAE Systems, Henline’s Towing, Indiana Department of Workforce Development, National 4-H Council, United Technologies, Walmart, United REMC, PHD,  Happy Cat Gifts and Huntington University.
