Saturday June 28th will be the first Adopt-a-Highway trash pickup day. This is an important day as we will be judged for our Adopt-a-Highway sign. Bad job = no sign and a waste of our time. So I’m asking all the students, mentors, friends etc come out and help us pick up trash. I will be at the intersection of Guilford St. and US-24 at 0700. I get lonely so please come out. I will have two coolers, of ice, for any drinks you might want to bring. Also please wear boots, (long pants) or an old pair of sneakers, as we will be picking up trash in the tall grass. Also bring a good pair of gloves.
