FIRST Robotics Team 1501, Huntington Indiana
I missed a few team updates. Team update 9,10, and 11. Update #11 is pretty neat. If we fry the 2008 robot controller, FIRST will allow the 2007 robot controller as a spare part. So that means we should pack this controller when we go to Boilermaker.
Well it’s been a rough season this year. We battled most of the same problems this year with size, weight, and of course time. However we managed to stick with it and get things done.
The robot ships today which marks the end of the build season, however there is still much to do. We need to have meetings about how we are going to function as a team at Boilermaker. Our team needs to run like clock work.
So for now, take the day off on Wednesday…sleep, watch cartoons, catch up on homework…just don’t come to robotics. LOL 
We’ll keep you posted when we need to meet again. More than likely, bank on meeting atleast TWICE a week and most all saturdays. We have some stuff to make during our fix it windows. We have 10 hours each week to make spare or upgrade parts.

We’d like to formally invite you to the Hier’s Park Community Building for a public showing of the 2008 Over Drive robot. Our public viewing starts at 7PM and ends at 8PM, Monday, 2-18-2008. Between 4 and 12 robots from regional FIRST teams have been invited to join Team 1720 for an afternoon of practice matches, mock competion, and much troubleshooting.”
